Mission Statement

We, a family of baptized believers called Freedom Baptist Church , share Christ's mission to glorify God through worshipping Him, developing His people, and sharing His Word with the world. (Matthew 28:19).

Our Purpose

When one reads the book of Acts, it becomes obvious that the early church concentrated on five priorities. Those five things constitute the purpose statement of Freedom Baptist Church .

  1. EXALTATION: the worship of the Lord Jesus Christ is an essential part of any church ministry. Freedom Baptist Church is a church that believes in offering a blended style of music. We stand on the old hymns of the faith with their rich theology, but we also incorporate today's beautiful praise and worship music into our services as well. We believe a balanced approach is best for our congregation.
  2. EVANGELISM: reaching lost people with the good news of the Gospel. We cannot call ourselves a new-testament church if we don't have a burden for the unsaved. It is our intention to continue to train our members to share their faith.
  3. EDIFICATION: this critical part of ministry deals with the preaching and teaching of God's Word. People are built up in the faith when the Scriptures are proclaimed. We intend to make the Word of God the priority in all we do. Freedom Baptist Church takes a bold stand on the inerrancy of the Bible.
  4. EQUIPPING: it is not enough that people hear the Word of God. We must also do what we hear. We want the people of our church to be enabled to do the work of ministry. Our church should continually prioritize the discovery and use of spiritual gifts. It is only when we find our spiritual gift that we can truly serve the Lord as He has called us. We expect every member to be a minister.
  5. ENCOURAGEMENT: the church also exists to minister to those who are hurting. The circumstances of life often bring God's people down, and we endeavor to help in a number of ways. We offer counseling to those who are s truggling emotionally. In addition, every Sunday School class should be a "church within a church" by existing as a caring community of fellowship, ministry and concern.
